This piece was created by Merritt and her Dragon (a mobile glassblowing studio) located in her backyard in Covington. Others would call this a paperweight but not M.A.D. these are Dragon Eggs! This egg was created by getting a gather of clear glass, picking up white and a dark multi frit(colored glass). I then use a specific tool to move some glass around. Lastely clear glass is gathered to complete the piece to give it a smooth finished look. Before it goes into the annealer the bottom is heated and stamped.Dimensions are 2.75"x 2.75"
