Vessel Class at M.A.D. Studios

Service Description

Reserve a spot to learn glassblowing from MAD by Merritt. By choosing this class you will learn the fundamentals of glassblowing and how to create any vessel style of your chose; vase, bowl or cup. You will be able to choose different colored glass, called frit to create your one of a kind masterpiece! Things to know: 1.) Class could run for three hours. 2.) It will be HOT so be prepared to sweat. 3.) To protect your eyes bring sunglasses. 4.) To protect your body I recommend wearing long sleeve, jeans, and no open faced shoes. With the layout of the studio the outside temperature plays a big role on how many people will be able to join. To provide a fun and comfortable etting, the outside temperature needs to be at least 40 degrees. *If booking has been completed and Mother Nature decides to plummet to freezing or storm, we will have to reschedule for your safety.
